Derek is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He holds a master’s degree in psychology from Houston Baptist University after discovering the benefit and profound impact his own journey in therapy produced. He enjoys working with a variety of clients from 6 years old and up, male adolescents, young adults, and adults in individual and family settings. He believes that at heart therapy is relational and so each therapeutic relationship is tailored to the needs of each client, working on issues of anxiety, depression, life changes/direction, family dynamics as they play out in both children and adults. He is a very active member of his church where he serves in multiple capacities and ministries. His hope and his heart are to see people walk in healing and wholeness.
