Kellie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and a master’s degree in Counseling and Play Therapy. She has special training working with children, teenagers, adults, and families and enjoys teaching parents therapeutic skills so that they can assist their children with trauma, ADHD, depression, anxiety, separation, grief and/or adjustment issues. She has experience as a program and clinical director providing therapy, running groups, supervising counselors and administrative staff in community mental health and church counseling centers. Recognizing that each person is a unique individual, Kellie has developed expertise in a variety of approaches, including play therapy, child-parent relationship therapy, sand tray work, trauma recovery, group work, and cognitive-behavioral therapy. Kellie works to tailor therapy to the individual helps clients focus on strengths, rather than weaknesses.
